Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival Cairo
Meet & assist by our representative and transfer your hotel. Check-in. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 – Cairo/ Luxor
According to flight schedules, transfer to Cairo airport and flight to Luxor. Transfer to the Nile & Check- in on board. After lunch, you visit the vast architectural complex of Karnak dedicated to the god Amun. The site was connected to the Luxor Temple, 3 km south from the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Back to the boat. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3 – Luxor / Edfu Friday
In the morning visit of the West bank: Valley of the Kings, where we found a total of 62 tombs dating from the new Kingdom. Then visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, whose structure makes it one of the most original temples. The Colossi of Memnon, relics of the temple of Amenhotep III. Back to the boat and Passage of the Esna Lock. Sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4 - Edfu / Komombo / Aswan
At Edfu, transfer by bus to the beautiful Temple of the falcon god Horus, son of Isis and Osiris built in sandstone. This is one of the best preserved temples of Upper Egypt. Back on board. Navigation to the south. Lunch on board. Stopover in late afternoon to visit the Greek-Roman temple of Kom Ombo. It is dedicated to the gods Horus the falcon-headed and crocodile-headed Sobek. Navigation to Aswan. Nubian show on board. Dinner on board.
Day 5 - Aswan
In the morning we will visit in Aswan: Philae Temple and High dam of Nasser. Lunch on board. After dinner, we will organize an optional evening to visit the Sound and Light Philae. Overnight on board.
Day 6 – Aswan/Cairo
Transfer to Aswan airport to Cairo. Check-in at the hotel. In the Afternoon Optional visit of the National Museum of Antiquities and free tour at Khan el Khalili souk. Back to the hotel & overnight in Cairo Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 – Cairo
Half day visit of the three pyramids and sphinx then lunch in a restaurant. Next Optional tour to visit Memphis & Sakkara, home of Egypt's oldest pyramid, built in 2650 B.C. Your final stop is Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. Here you will see artifacts from many of the great rulers of Egypt, including the fallen statue of Ramses II. Back to the hotel & overnight in Cairo.
Day 8 – Cairo / Final departure
Transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure.
