West Bank Day Tour

The first stop on this tour is the Valley of the Kings, where many kings are buried. Admire the magnificent architecture of the burial tombs, including those of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII. Next is the Valley of the Queens, located on the west bank of the River Nile and southwest of the Valley of the Kings. It is also known as Biban al Harim and Ta Set Neferu, which means "seat of beauty." It was built to house the tombs of the queens, princes and princesses of the XVIII, XVIV, and XX dynasties. Visit the temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty(1490–1469 B.C) and is the only Pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.

 

East and West Banvks Day Tour

Your tour starts in the West Bank, home of the Valley of the Kings. Admire the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for many kings' burial sites. You will visit the famous tombs of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII. Next, you will visit the temple built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490–1469 B.C). She is the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. You will make a short stop by the Colossi of Memnon, where the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III lie, before you head to the East Bank in Luxor. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue your tour to visit Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in the history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. The last stop is the Temple Of Luxor, built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.

 

East Bank Day Tour

You will head to Luxor where you will be accompanied by private English speaking Egyptologist guide to visit the Karnak Temples. It is the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. Next is Luxor Temple, built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. You will also visit the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon.  

 

Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples

The Karnak Temple Complex is the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. You will be transferred to see the Karnak Temples, where you will attend the spectacular Sound and Light production. This spectacle will take about 75-minutes, first taking you around the temple grounds, with the last act playing while you are seated along the Great Sacred Lake. The performance relates the history of Luxor as the capital of the ancient world.    

 

Air Balloon Ride In Luxor

in the morning for your hot air balloon ride. You will be taken to the marina to enjoy soft drinks before your motorboat ride to the West Bank, where your take off area is located. Your 45 minute flight above the biggest open air museum, Luxor. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.

 

Dendera and Abydos

Your first stop is Abydos, where ancient Egyptians believed the Lord of the underworld was buried. There you will visit the Seti I Temple, built by King Seti I and completed by King Ramses II. It is located about 420 km to the south of Cairo in Sohag Governorate, and 135 km from Luxor. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. Then, you will continue to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy.  

 

High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple

Take a day tour to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Then, you will head to the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. This obelisk is believed to belong to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II, who owns Al Deir El-Bahari temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. However, others believe that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti. Your final stop is the majestic Philae Temple, which was built on the honor of goddess Isis the chief deity of the island.  

 

Abu Simbel by flight .

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Aswan Airport, where you will board a flight to Abu Simbel. This area's main attraction is the great Sun Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari. Both temples was discovered in 1813, after centuries of being buried under desert sands. Both temples were moved in 1960 with the help of the Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the temple mostly to honor himself; the interiors are decorated with murals depicting his famous victory at Qadesh battle. On the north of Ramses Temple stands the Nefertari Temple, which was built by Ramses II for his favorite wife Queen Nefertari. At the end of the tour, you will be taken to Abu Simbel airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon your arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel.  

 

Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple

Spend the evening at Philae Temple and watch the Sound and Light Show! It takes you on a narrated journey to discover the legends of Goddess Isis & God Osiris. The site of Philae was flooded for six months each year. An incredible restoration program was undertaken in the 1960s and the Temple was moved stone by stone to the current location. Enjoy the spectacular lights of the multimedia presentations which vividly reveal the form and majesty of this ancient site. Walk through the magnificent temple as its history is narrated. After the show, you will be taken back to your hotel.

 

Botanical Garden and Elephantine Island

Enjoy a half day excursion by a traditional felucca around the Botanical Garden which was used by the Nubians to settle in it and they called it Jet Narty. In the year of 1899 lord Kitchener take the island to be a place where his campaign can rest, and call it the lord's house. After his death, this island belonged to the ministry of agriculture and Elephantine Island. The island named Elephantine as it was a major ivory trading center or because Egyptians first saw the Elephant in this district. The island is considered a natural boundary between Egypt and Nubia.  

 

Kom Ombo and Edfu from Aswan

Temple of Kom Ombo, which stands on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, one entrance dedicated to the falcon-headed divinity Haroeris (the ancient falcon-headed Horus) and the crocodile-headed deity Sobek (the god of fertility and the creator of the world). Komombo importance lies in its huge sugar-cane. After lunch at local restaurant, you will cross the Nile to Edfu where you will be transferred by a horse carriage to visit the majestic temple dedicated to Horus. It is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.  

 

Nubian Museum and Village

Visit the long- awaited Nubian Museum Aswan which was opened in 1997. This museum displays thousands of antiquities that would have been lost under the waters of Lake Nasser. Enjoy scenes of Nubian life depicted on life-sized displays. Then, you will move to the Nubian Villages situated at the bottom of Elephantine Island Aswan. You will discover the simple and natural life of the very kind and hospitable Nubian people. At the end of the tour, you will transfer back to the hotel.

Abu Simbel Temples by bus 

A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to enjoy Abu Simbel by private air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt, reflecting the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II, called the Sun Temple, was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Ra, and to Ramses II himself. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also called Temple of Hathor, after the goddess who was the wife of the Sun God, so in a symbolic way the two temples bring Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.
